Salesforce World Tour NYC’23: The key insights you shouldn’t miss!
Ever wondered what it’s like to peek into the future? Well, Salesforce World Tour NYC’23 was pretty much that — a time machine into the world of tomorrow’s business.
It happened at the Javits Centre, in the middle of the NYC. That’s right, not every trailblazer could attend physically (Including myself). But thanks to the Salesforce+ platform, it was streamed live!
For those who don’t know, The Salesforce World Tour is hosted every year in different cities and countries. It is a premier event highlighting the future of sales, marketing, and customer service. featuring keynotes from Salesforce executives, expert-led sessions, and interactive workshops.
Now, let’s cut to the chase and talk about the five groundbreaking highlights from the NYC`23.
1. The Salesforce IDC Report
The latest IDC Report predicts a net gain of $2.02 Trillion Dollars and almost 12 Million Jobs by 2028 in the Salesforce eco-system [1]. 🤯 The jaw-dropping figures made the audience go WOW. Who wouldn’t wanna be a part of such a huge community?
Salesforce continuously releases new groundbreaking innovations to its system. I think Salesforce is going to generate more than the predicted revenue. Let’s hear your POV in the comments!
2. Einstein AI Copilot, RAG & Vector Database
AI Took the centre stage at NYC`23. Salesforce launched the ground-shaking features of its Einstein Copilot, launched early this September [2].
Einstein Copilot is a new generative AI-powered conversational assistant for every Salesforce application — like Sales, Service, Data Cloud and more, baked seamlessly into the flow of work to drive significant productivity gains.
What’s new in the Einstein Copilot?
i. Vector Database in Data Cloud: Guess what? Salesforce Data Cloud can now handle unstructured data! This was the need of the hour. As always, Salesforce is leading the way with the launch of Vector Database to Power AI, Analytics, and Automation Using LLMs with Business Data for Use Across the Einstein 1 Platform [3].
ii. Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG): This sounds like a complex term. Put simply, it is a mechanism which allows Einstein Gen-AI to retrieve results from unstructured data. It uses semantic search and semantic retrieval to make this possible [4]. Watch this video to understand all about RAG in detail.
iii. Einstein Copilot across Salesforce: You read it right. The power of Einstein Gen-AI is now available across the Salesforce. It is embedded right into all of the Salesforce Applications like Data Cloud, Sales, Service, Commerce and more [3].
3. The Trailblazer Career Marketplace
As a Salesforce Trailblazer, I was so happy to hear this news. Salesforce introduced Trailblazer Career Marketplace, a New Talent Hub for Job Seekers and Employers in the Salesforce Ecosystem [5]. I don’t think it needs further explanation.
As soon as I knew, I built my resume on the Career Marketplace. It’s time for you to complete your profile as well. Click here right now!
4. Tableau Pulse: AI-Powered Insights
Tableau is my favourite data analytics platform. The introduction of Tableau Pulse was another most-awaited announcement [6]. With Einstein Gen-AI integrated across the Salesforce, This new feature enables auto generated data analytics reports and allows users to input guided prompts to generate analytics the way they want.
Tableau Pulse is a reimagined data experience, built on the Tableau platform, that empowers every employee with intelligent, personalized, and contextual insights delivered in the flow of work. Tableau Pulse helps everyone in your organization integrate data into their daily jobs to make better, faster decisions. Without having to learn a new tool or build comprehensive visualizations, Tableau Pulse helps you go beyond the how and what and shows you the why behind your data.
